I am falling more and more in love with Vivienne Westwood every time I read something about her fabulous British Eccentricity, or see a produce of hers that is that little bit different pop up on eBay. I watched a great programme about British country mansions with a fabulous and slightly insane matriarch figure in charge – and she reminded me so brilliantly of Westwood!
These funky and unique heels are for those of you blessed with average size 5 feet, and I am so jealous. I also have no money though, so the fact they wouldn’t fit if probably good for me! These are £19.99 now, with 8 days to go!

I am having a little well-deserved break from blogging guys, during my week off between jobs. I will get back into it shortly, but for the meantime here is a pretty little semi-daily eBay post to keep the excitement up!
As you all know, I love irregular choice. It isn’t exactly a secret, and the piles of shoe boxes in my bedroom are proof of the addiction. Normally I am not a huge fan of their frankly strange cleft toed items, inspired by Maison Martin Margiela. This pair of heels, however, have a special saving grace. Yes, that is right – these can be worn as a heel, or as a boot, simply with the addition of that super cool knee-high spat. Spats are one of my favourite things at the moment (although I own none), and knee-high pairs are quite rare. Even better, you could wear these spats with other heels too.

I love vintage tins. The history, the little lumps and bumps, the detailed illustrations. Quite frankly, they just don’t produce tins like that any more. Thankfully plenty of people kept these tins, and little wonders like this biscuit box are actually quite easy to get hold of – and they are great for holding all your threads/cottons and bits and pieces. Or, perhaps, for holding your biscuits (surely not!!). This one in particular is a replica of a snuff-box held in the V&A – and isn’t it lovely!
Currently £1.50 with 5 hours left, this is a real bargain!

I don’t quite know why, but I love these. As in wild, unadulterated love, the type that makes you want to throw caution to the wind and invest in a rare pair of boots that aren’t your size and that you will likely never wear. I think it is the fact they are wedge boots, yet glammed up with the gold exterior and cute Tim Burton style girl picture running up the calf. Whatever it is, I am having trouble not seeing red and randomly buying these shoes that won’t fit.

I love Vivienne Westwood heels, especially these plasticky versions that have been all over fashion blogs for the past year. Unfortunately I can’t really justify buying them! These are my size, a UK 7, and in a lovely shade of blue – and are quite reasonable at £39.99 and brand new!

It is me selling this item guys! I am totally skint at the moment and rasing cash selling off some of my more wonderful items of clothing – and those that I don’t fit into!
This dress is from US vintage inspired designer Trashy Diva, whose clothes I have lusted after for years. I finally gave in a bought this $195 Obi dress (Design Obi2), 1940’s inspired, in a size XS (it was all they had left!). Somewhat predictably it really didn’t fit me – but I wish it did. Consequently it has never ever been worn! The 100% silk fabric is exquisite, and the pattern/shape are both gorgeous!
It is currently up for sale for £9.99, so go grab a bargain!

It is official (in case you had been wondering) – winter is here, and here to stay. The days are wet windy and cold, and I spend most of my time thinking about the Bahamas, tucking myself up in blankets so tightly that I can’t move, and whining continuously about the never-ceasing rain. I am, in case you haven’t realised, one of the worst of the winter whiners, those irritating people who can’t stop themselves complaining about the miserable weather.
The one thing I don’t really have for the winter is a decent coat. I have some light summery ones, and one old and bobbled winter version. Other than that, I am lacking in the coat department, and it serves me right to whine about the weather when I am not preparing myself against it thoroughly! That si why so many of my eBay searches try and find a warm winter coat, and why I have fallen in love with this white bow coat from designer Nanette Lepore. It is currently for sale for a penny with no reserve!

Bottega Veneta make the best handbags in all the land. I don’t even really like handbags, and I love these ones. They also, however, make some stunning and very expensive clothes, of which this dress is a great example. I love the pleated folds (I am gently addicted to pleats at the moment!) and the strange dusky purple colour is stunning! This would so flatter both waspish creatures and curvy girls alike! It is currently only $26 – not bad considering that it would have been hundreds (if not thousands!) when first sold!

I love artistic shoes. Some of the ones strutting the catwalk at the moment are kind of like watching delicate vases or incomprehensible sculptures pacing the length, and I wish that I owned a real (but wearable!) pair of arty heels. These Miu Miu teacup heels are a great example – decadent, over-the-top, but definitely more a real shoe than a sculpture. They are £250 though – ouch!

I didn’t come across these shoes myself. The wonderful Elena over at eBay Fashion Addict tracked them down, and I loved them so much that I quite simply had to bring them to your attention too. If they fitted my I would be buying these, right now! The crushed velvet, oddly, works. The heels and the toes are exquisite, perfect! I want I want I want.
Will one of you please please buy them so I dont feel so bereft?
