Is it just me, or is there something just… well… wonderful about these Valentino heels? I suppose in part it is because of the classic and elegant shape, but generally I think the shade is the winner. Not quite pink, not quite purple, not quite really bright and not quite muted. It is one of those sweet and downright edible shades that is simple at the same time as being really unusual. For whatever reason, I love them. I don’t love the £164 price tag though, although when you think that it is down from a mighty £410 it almost becomes a bargain…
Semi-Daily eBay | Mix Tap Watch (which is AWESOME) October 15, 2010

I can’t really afford to shell out £50 on a mix-tape watch, even if I do know someone who would love it (it would go perfectly with the high tops and suchlike he wears!). However, I had to share – this retro men’s watch is just brilliant! I saw it on a blog a few months ago, and when I saw it pop up on eBay I may have inadvertently bounced up and down with excitement.
As a total aside, does anyone else have a list of words that somehow manage to find their way into your vocabulary, but which then end up really annoying you? For some reason recently I have been using “Awesome” and “Fabulous” a lot – and it is getting to the point where I need some replacement words. Any suggestions?

You see this beauty? Delicate black lace, thick black satin band around the top? This is currently on sale for about £200, and is by D&G. The best thing? This skirt is pretty much an exact replica of a vintage Frank Usher lace skirt, which I just bought on eBay for a grand total of £3. Yup, less than a fiver, and in perfect condition too! Now, what to wear this lovely lovely item with?

I love Charlotte Olympia heels. They may just be my favourite. The chunky platform, the funky heel. The Louboutin-esque shape. I dream of owning a pair, which is why I wish this particular example was in my size – they are only £50!! Please, someone with size UK5/EU38 feet, please buy them!

I am feeling kind of like partying today. Not clubbing, but dancing, and eating canapés, and sipping blush champagne from tall fluted glasses. As such, this heavy winter ball gown is just the sort of thing that would help me to do that. Although I would still need to acquire the ballroom, the canapés, and the other guests. But hey. This stunning and unusual floral ball gown is £54.99, and has 6 days to go – and I wish it was mine!

You can tell my mood is starting to pick up when I start online shopping again. It is hard currently, as I have to do it in my lunch hour, but never mind! Anyway, today rather than eBay I have been trawling Etsy. I didn’t get very far, as there on the first page was this stunning leather diary cover. It is, quite frankly, gorgeous! The leather looks stunning, and as for the hand-crafted design?! Well, if I was the type of person who would spend $120 on a cover, then I would buy it. But I am tight – so one of you guys will have to buy it instead!

5 comments Oh my. That was all I thought when I saw this dress. Oh my. First off, it is beautiful. Yes, completely over the top, but somewhat wonderful at the same time, thanks to the dual layers of sheer pink and purple ruffles, and the figure flattering shape. Secondly, it is exactly my size. Exactly. It is almost like it is meant to be. Except oh, wait, this dress costs $118. And I can’t afford $118. So, for now, it will have to remain out of my reach! Darn skintness…

1920s fashion seems to have been accidentally popping up all over the interwebs this week, and the case wasn’t any different with my searches on eBay. All these beautiful antique creations kept coming up for sale and I couldn’t afford any of them. It isn’t fair, so I am putting them on here in the hopes that one of you will buy them instead!

1920s Fashion Cream Lace Minidress
First up, one of the super short 1920′s hemlines that made those Flappers seem quite so risque. I love lace at the moment anyway, but even the beauty of this origianl piece can’t make me part with a mighty £225!
This one is even more expensive, ringing in at a terrifying £665, despite the fact it has a few stains and size of age. However, this supreme example of the 1920s fashion dropped waist deserves to be showcased, if not necessarily bought.
Finally, what need I say about this floaty organza dress? It is stunning, sexy and utterly representative of a bias cut flamboyance that we have long left behind. I want it, and if I had a posh event the $100 would seem slightly more acceptable to me!

First off, apologies… Semi-daily eBay has become more Semi-Monthly. However, I am on a self imposed stop-spending binge at the moment, so shall no doubt be featuring many pretty things purely to try to force someone to buy them on my behalf.
Now, on with the subject of this post. These boots. These bold, daring and downright dangerous boots. They are, of course, utterly ridiculous, and it would be wrong if they were anything but. They also currently cost £100, which is painful, but to be fair not completely stratospheric – and they are in my size, which makes their presence all the more unbearable! These completely meet all my requirements for bold biker boots, sky-high wedges and attitude. I love them!

I had to share these gorgeous little glasses with you! I know that we have seen a plethora of recycled bottle glasses hitting the shops over the past few years, but these little tumblers are different. They are cute, retro, and above all else the variety means that they stand out from a crowd. They would have to be kept on display though, to show off their gorgeous looks!
