It is a good day for women kind when we can buy clothes at high street prices by the SATC designer. Of course, the proof is really all in the pudding, and a quick flick through the M&S website (proud owner of Patricia Field’s new collection) shows a could of interesting signature pieces – but plenty of items dull as ditch-water.
As you all know, SATC is known for it’s remarkably bright and bold fashions – massive flowers as big as Sarah Jessica Parker, or huge pink fur coats swallowing poor Samantha. Whether you loved it or hated it (like a Chanel Marmite jar), the fashion brought attention to itself, and started bright bold and brave trends around the world. It also, thank goodness, let us see some of the loveliest (and worst) shoes ever created!
It is worth checking out this collection – go here– but if you’re expecting groundbreaking fashion that won’t break the bank, I’m afraid you’ll be sorely disappointed!
These are, oddly, my two favourite pieces:
The Strapless Stripe Dress – Designed by Patricia Field – £35.00
The Statement Scarf Dress – Designed by Patricia Field – £55.00
